May home closings were higher than last year in Naples!
Naples Florida May 2019 sales were brisk with 1,165 closings, 104 sales higher than the same period last year.
That is an increase of 9.8%!
How about home inventory levels in Naples FL?
Inventory levels in the Naples real estate market are lower than that of a year ago, there are only 7.3 months of supply this year compared to 8.8 in 2018. May saw the number of new condominium listings decrease by 11.9 percent; whereas there was an increase of 1.2 percent for new listings in the single-family homes market.
What does all this mean?
Given the overall balance between supply and demand, opportunities exist for both buyers and sellers. Buyers, currently, have more options than in recent years. Moreover, sellers, if their homes are priced competitively, should be able to sell in a reasonable timeframe at a price in line with recent closed sales.
